At True North Innovation, we are keen to move away from the traditional 'preach and leave' method. Instead we work with you and your team to find out what your needs are (e.g. where are the knowledge gaps, how many people are to be trained, what method of learning suits you best, what is your availability) and adapt our approach accordingly.

We also carry out follow up to ensure that the learning is being adopted and encourage ways to improve this.

Systematic Innovation Workshop – this 1-day workshop is an introduction to some of the tools and techniques for systematic innovation. It is a very practical session and you will be able to leave the workshop with the knowledge to apply TRIZ to all aspects of your life.

  • Short presentations of the theory of systematic innovation
  • Opportunity to try out exercises on real case studies
  • Chance to create an action plan for how these tools can be utilised in your business

  • Learn about inventive tools you can use every day, such as Functional Analysis, Contradiction Matrix, 48 Parameters and 40 Principles
  • How patterns of innovation repeat and how you can learn from the past
  • How to focus on the ideal final result rather than settle on incremental improvement
  • How to make use of idle resources for an improved outcome at little or no cost
